This is an actual word for today’s church. The church must pursue love. But Christians often leave love and pursue success. Maybe love leads you to a desert, and success leads you to a blossomed garden. Pursue love, because success can be deceptive, but love-never. He who pursues love will finally reach success. I mean not fleshly, but divine love, which is expressed by loving, helping and doing goods to people.
How much you love people, as much you love God. If someone says he loves God, but does not love people, he doesn’t love God, because it is written, “…he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?” (1 John 4:20).
Love is greater than faith, hope, everything. If a man is powerful, but doesn’t have love, becomes cruel.
Love gives. As water doesn’t need water, so the loving person doesn’t need love. He, who always complains that there is no love in church, he doesn’t have love himself, because the loving person does not seek to be loved, but to love.
Love does not notice others’ mistakes. The children and ministers of God must love people without any profit, not stone each other for mistakes, be united, because all of them do the same work. Jesus Christ said, “By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another” (John 13:35).
Beloved, we owe each other love. If we have love towards each other, all will know we are the disciples of Jesus.
