I suggest you to read this wonderful Psalm completely. It begins with the following words: “The LORD is my shepherd and I shall not want… “. If the Lord is our shepherd, we really will not have a need anything, because He directs us “beside the still waters” and make us to lie down “in green pastures”.
God also promises us the leading of goodness and mercy all the days of our life in addition of having needs in nothing. We are given a very interesting promise here. We have one life, which consists of many days and God promises that the goodness and mercy will follow us not only one day or two, but all the days of our life.
Let’s think about this a moment. We need a goodness or mercy every day. During illness, difficulties and challenges we always need God’s mercy, and when everything is fine – we need His goodness.
Beloved, I do not know in what your need is today, in the goodness or mercy, but always remember that goodness and mercy will follow you if the Lord is your shepherd. You’ll dwell in the house of the Lord forever; that is eternally. Decide to follow the Lord and you will not have a need in anything.
Be blessed all the days of your life! Amen.
