We can see the Lord’s Word is mocked and dishonored everywhere. Many come against not only the Lord, but his Anointed One.
In Acts we read that when Saul was persecuting the believers, the Lord appeared to him and said, “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute Me”. Saul did not persecute Christ personally, but he persecuted the church. But the Lord said, “…why do you persecute Me”. So, who touches the Lord’s servant, touches the apple of His eye.
It is written, “Why do the nations conspire and the peoples plot in vain?” This verse refers to those who do not have reconciliation with God. They come against the church of God through printing press, TV and other ways, mock the works of the children of God without thinking that they will give account to God. The Word of God states that the One enthroned in heaven laughs at them.
Today my advice to those who come against the Lord is: don’t become a mock for God. If the Lord scoffs at someone, the whole world will make a mock of him or her.
Let us live according to the Lord’s will, not slander anyone, as Christ said, let us first remove the plank from our own eye, then notice the speck in the other’s eye. Let us bless each other and move forward.
