2015 years ago Jesus was crucified just for you. He was crucified and rose from the dead on the third day. Today this great historical event is remembered and celebrated as the most favorite and long-awaited holiday in the world. After all, Christ gave us new life through His resurrection. [push h=”15″]

In this connection, there was a prevailing festive atmosphere in our church as well.[push h=”15″]

On April 3 a service was held for the church members during which a financial report and the existing ministries were briefly presented to them. On the eve of the celebration the church members received Holy Communion.[push h=”15″]

On April 3 and 4 Pastor Arthur Simonyan conducted church services, speaking about the meaning of Passover.[push h=”15″]

“Get rid of the old yeast, so that you may be a new unleavened batch—as you really are. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed. Therefore let us keep the Festival, not with the old bread leavened with malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth” (1 Cor. 5:7, 8 NIV)”.[push h=”15″]

If it were not for Passover, we would not be able to get out of the “land of Egypt”. We live in a dying world, however, with the resurrection of Jesus Christ death lost its power, and we received His resurrection life. According to the pastor, it is a day when we can become a man or woman after God’s own heart.[push h=”15″]

During these days our guest was Abraham Tashchyan, an amazing singer, who sang wonderful worship songs.[push h=”15″]

Speaking about the earthly life of Jesus Christ, Pastor Arthur presented one of His temptations (see Matt. 4:8-10). According to him, there will come a time when we will also meet trials. However, at that time it won’t matter where or what trial we will go through, but what answer we will give.[push h=”15″]

“We are called to worship God”, – noted Pastor Arthur and urged everyone to start their day by worshipping the Lord.[push h=”15″]

On April 5 there was also a youth service during which Pastor Arthur talked again about the meaning of Passover. He also urged the youth not to cling to the stereotypes of the environment and not to be afraid of being different, because God created each of us unique.[push h=”15″]

After the service young people were in no hurry to go home. In connection with the holiday, they were treated to traditional Passover dishes.[push h=”15″]
